I don't even know where to begin. I just found it fascinating due to the shape and center (stigma?), yet I can't find it anywhere. I've been searching for about an hour now, but with no luck. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
Hydrangea maybe. Welcome to the Forum! http://www.hydrangeasplus.com/Hydrangea_Macrophylla_Sister_Theresa.html
Speaking for myself, I think hydrangeas are great. Their giant size, their festive color, cheer me. I like 'em all. So, I understand your feeling! Do you have a plant of your own? Or will you?
I'm an artist/painter, and I like to paint things that I find fascinating. But more so, I actually like to know what I'm painting before doing it. Call it research. I didn't know what they were, and it didn't feel right using them in a piece without knowing what they were. Weird, huh?
No, indeed. Admirable, in fact. Just as the students of the art school at which I was employed studied human anatomy in order to accurately render the human form, it is necessary to study plant structure to learn how to draw plants. Can't write music without knowing the notes, or an effective story without knowing how to put words together. Gotta have a structure through which and on which to express your ideas. Much success to you!
