Identification: Need help identifying this plant

    I have no idea what this is. Can someone please help me. Its about to die and It was given to me from a family member that has passed away. Thank you!!!

    First guess, a Begonia. Can you show the top of the blade as well?

    the leaf is about 7 inches long. I will try to see if I can get a better pic. Its just one little piece. It was in water when i got it.

    the leaf is thin and that is another leaf starting next to it
