Identification: Need help identifying strange plant

    I have never seen this before, it's about 2-3 feet tall and has a bundle of red, tiny tomato-like seeds on the top end... like a crazy sort of cat-tail. It's in my front yard. I have attatched some pictures. If you can figure out what these are, please email me at kristy7484@hotmail.com

    I'll give it a family - Araceae, then wait for one of the experts to get specific.

    This family includes such things as "Skunk Cabbage" "Jack in the Pulpit" "Voodoo Lily".

    thanx folks! yep there are no leaves... i didn't even notice these buggers until after the leaves must have wilted

    ..."these buggers"...Oh my. You are honoured to have such intersting things pop-up. I am jealous. All I seem to get is chickweed & dandelions.
