Was at Rondeau Provincial Park over the weekend, and came across this flower that I can't seem to find anywhere. I contacted Rondeau but haven't heard back yet. Was hoping someone here might be able to help me ID it. Thanks Description: Location: Rondeau Provincial Park, in South Western Ontario Marsh Trail: Found it growing on the forest floor next to a dirt trail in some short grass. Lots of Mayapple plants near by The flower is about 3" across It is short almost growing flat to the ground It was the only one we saw, there were no others near by or anywhere else in the park.
Pedicularis - not sure which of them - P. sudetica http://www.cdhs.us/Flower Project/F...iaceae Index/P. sudetica/P. sudetica Fset.htm P. lanceolata http://www.flickr.com/photos/7295307@N02/4561905501/
Thank you so much for helping me narrow it down! Not often I get stumped like that lol I'm leaning towards Canadian lousewort - Pedicularis canadensis
