In The Garden: Need help identifying Green Plant with Pods, chicago area

    I recently purchased older home with many plants. many are overgrown , and some could be weeds for all I know. New to gardening, I hope this site helps.

    I have 3 of these large green plants with pods in front yard. I am wondering what they are....and should I keep them all. They are growing a bit wild.

    I am in Chicago area, pictures attached
