Hi there! I've had a plant for 2 years (my first plant actually, but I now have many more) and I've always just put it where ever and watered it when I remembered, and it's always done well. You could even say that dispite my neglect it's been very difficult to kill. Recently, however, it's encountered some tragedies (my cat tried to eat it and then knocked it on the floor, breaking it's pot and killing almost half the plant. My mother then temporarily adopted it to nurse it back to health and her dog made an attempt on it's life) and it's now but a shadow of it's former glory (almost 1/4 of the size it used to be). Anyway, all of this has spurred me to learn the identy of this plant so that I may help it return to it's former self. I'm sure this will be easy for you guys as this is just a plant I picked up at Rite-aid one day so I'm sure it's a fairly common houseplant. Enough rambling, here's the plant:

I've never seen it flower though, and from what I googled on that type of plant it looks like it should? any other possibilities? I'll try to get some better pictures later if that would help? Thanks to both of you :D
