Wildflowers: Need help identifying CA wildflowers

    I'm trying to identify the plants in these pictures. Both photos were taken in California. The one in the sunset photo was taken in Redding, and the other in the Yosemite Valley.

    Both are 2-3 feet tall and were in bloom in early July.

    Asclepias, most likely Asclepias speciosa.

    Nerium oleander, I think -- this was in a planted area, correct?

    Yes, if you're referring to the flower in the sunset photo.
