I got this tree at the Home Depot & it was doing fine up until a couple of days ago when suddenly it has started dropping almost all of its leaves. Nothing had changed in the way I cared for it. Don't know what it is, need to figure out how to help the poor guy. Currently in a sunroom, possibly too much sun? I water once per week. Thanks for any help.

Hi. Yes this is it's current condition. It was previously covered in the leaves from top to bottom & had been since purchase. Thanks so much for identifying it, now I can make sure I am caring for it properly.

Looks fine to me mate...don't forget nurseries having them growing in ideal conditions and when you get them home those conditions change. I wouldn't worry too much it may just be adapting

i agree, most plants go through an adjustment phase when they are taken home.

it's a dracaena - keep the soil evenly moist. if it's now in a sunnier/less sunny spot than it was at the store, it will need a couple of weeks to adjust to the different light level.
