I've had this plant for several years, I received just a single leaf as a start and now have several plants. Last year for the first time one of the plants bloomed during the summer. This year 3 plants bloomed. The leaf stalk can be fairly large, one new stalk is currently between 5 to 6 ft in length. Here are pictures of the smaller plants, plus what the blooms looked like. The blooms normally only last about 24 hrs and blooms at night. Very pretty. I have no idea what this is and if I asked in the wrong forum I apologize. Thanks for any answers.

Posts asking about this can be quite numerous at some times. Plant grows much bigger than yours is at present.
A taiwanese friend gave me this plant called "tanhua" in chinese. Very easy plant to care for. Goes in the garage for the winter. We have always missed the actual blooming since it takes place during the night.
