Help! My Hardy Kiwis, for the second year in a row, are having a "sex" crisis! My two female vines are LOADED with flower buds, soon to open, but my male plant has not a single flower! Does anyone have any male Hardy Kiwi flowers ready to open, that they can mail me, so I can try to hand pollinate????? Anybody ever tried this? I figure, at least it is worth a try. I am pruning using the Florida extension service handout, and doing everything I think I should, but if anybody has ideas on coaxing a "shy" male Hardy Kiwi to "do his job" (for next year...), please holler.
