Hello, I received this plant when someone was moving. I was told it was a stick catcus but when I looked it up, there is no information in it. Can someone give me the name so I can look up some information about watering and repotting and the kind of sunlight it needs. I do know that it gets red flowers on it and it has bark like a tree. I tried to get the bark and a bud of the flower along with the greens in the picture. Thanks.
You might find it by looking up "pencil cactus" IMAGES What you have might even be a Euphorbia and not a cactus.
Junglekeeper is right. They are commonly called as "Drunkard's dream" because the shape of the stems resembles that of Liquor bottles. Here is a snap of my plant in bloom.
