I can't seem to find this weed through my research, was hoping someone might know what this plant is? It looks like a small version of a mesquite tree. A mesquite weed maybe? : )

Ditto to a species of broom; not sure which species though. The seed pods are the wrong shape for Common Broom Cytisus scoparius, so it isn't that.

Thanks for the replies, I am sure it is of the sweet pea or scurfea, The little pea pods dry out and when you drop them they twist and pop seeds everywhere. Thanks for the help.
