    Hello,

My grandmother saw a plant in Greece, and she's desperate to find the name of this plant. I only have a picture of this plant...

    Can someone help me?

You can e-mail me at rafhendrickx@hotmail.com

    Thanks,

Hi raf, looks like crepe myrtle, Lagerstroemia indica. Try some searches to see if it compares to what your grandmother saw. It is generally grown as a small tree in warm climates. It can be grown as a shrub and even used in annual plantings because it comes into flower at a young age. It is very common in the southern US but I don't see it much up here in Vancouver. I do remember seeing a grand specimen in Seattle though, so it may grow in Belgium.
