I have a plant I am looking for the name of. It has 5 leaves in each group cluster about 1" diamenter across the 5 leaf cluster. It is growing like an Ivy but is not any Ivy I have seen. Very easy to start from a cutting and gets new growth in many different places not just on the end of vine. The stem the leaves come off of is very fine and leafs are small and petite. Was told it was an Ivy but not sure. Would greatly appreciate any information you can give me. Wisconsin flower lady

"[a]bout 1" diamenter(sic) across the 5 leaf cluster" suggests a very tiny leaf cluster... is this measurement correct?

I measured the biggest set of leaves and they are two inches across. The way the five leaves are attached to the stem coming from the main vine is only 2 of the leaves in length you would be measuring for distance accross cluster. All the five leaves are attached by the stem and the five leaves fill in the circle which is from 1 inch across to 2" accross. Looking at the leaves the edges of the leaves have a very tiny thin thorn looking coming all the way around each leaf. It is just rough feeling and it does not doing anything like rose bush thorns. Till I really looked at the leaves just in the right light did I see these little thorns. The thorn things are about 1/8 of inch from each other all around the edge of the leaf. To the feel the edges of leaf just fells rough to the touch. The plant I have is very young so manybe the leaves will get bigger has the plant ages. I do not know. Wisconsin flower lady
