Hi! I saw this plant growing rampant in someone's front yard and, as I need something to cover an unsightly concrete wall, I took a cutting and rooted it. It rooted readily and now needs potting up, so I would like to know what it is. It's probably a weed, but I think it's pretty. Thank you.

So it has pretty leaves AND it gets pretty yellow flowers - bonus! Even though it is not a vine that will climb a wall, I am happy with it. I have a Lamium maculatum 'Purple Dragon', but I didn't notice the resemblance until now. Thank you very much.

Ah, Lamium, in the Mint and Coleus family!! I was initially thinking of something else.
