I just moved in to a new place with a flower bed in the yard. It had 3 existing plants that I was not sure of their species so I left them be. I posted some pictures of them below if someone could help me identify them so I can either get rid of them if they are weeds or tend to them properly otherwise. Thank you
No scent when I rub them I thought it might be mint as well. They have woody stems that were cut down last year at the base.
Re: Hydrangea? I don't think this is a hydrangea, it looks like a Dahlia? Dig into the soil with care, and if you feel a tuber, it is a Dahlia.... Hydrangeas will grow from last years wood....and form a shrub shape... this has tender shoots with sprouting....written all over it....
