A friend of mine inherited a large houseplant, and he gave me a clipping of it. Neither of us know what it is. Here is a picture of mine, which I have had almost a year, and only had the little tiny offshoot grow out of it. It has funny looking stiff roots that poke out of the stem all over. I'm sorry I am probably not saying this in proper plant talk, but that's the best I can do! If someone knows what it is, can you let me know? Thanks, Shawna
I'm only a novice at this sort of thing and will just make a guess but looks a little like some kind of orchid. I don't know much about different orchids but no doubt someone else will come along who will have some idea.
