Mystery plant

    We have a plant in our yard that was here when we moved in and no one seems to know anything about it. We do know that it does not spread. We still have just the two plants after more than a year; a big one and a little one. That's about it. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

    It's a Euphorbia. Which one, I'm not sure, but somebody will be along who does.

    Thank you so very very much. That was enough to point me in the right direction. What I have specifically is a Euphorbia lathyris.

    Yes, Euphorbia lathyris. A nasty invasive species, with caustic sap. Wear gloves when pulling it out.
