We live in California(Zone 8). I have this mystery plant growing at the north side of the house. Which I cut back in half in the fall for a more bushy shape. Never blooms, never dropp leafs in the fall. Start to grow new growth in spring.
My husband wants to cut it, as its too close to the house.(its sort of growing out of an old cement pavement) I am fighting for its life now. When you touch the leafs it feels like a dry bay leaf.
Please help if you can. Thanks.
