This lovely plant sprouted in early spring, It's a little taller than a foot now and really strong and sturdy. No sign of a flower, but at the bottom branches there are two new shoots starting I hope it's not a weed... I rather likes it. Especially the birds eye view.
Welcome to the forums Girlie. Looks like Euphorbia lathyris. Be careful of the sap it is toxic. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=E...Ly7Aaa_IGYBA&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=699 http://www.euphorbia.de/giftstart_e.htm
THANX SO MUCH !!! I will be careful with it This plant will be a keeper, I have been having mole hills popping up, every morning and I just read it's commonly said to be a deterrent -- BONUS!
They say, it is biennial (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphorbia_lathyris). But maybe it will reproduce by seeds.
I hope so. I am excited about this unique plant, which arrived as a 'gift' to my new garden. I will definitely keep an eye on her next year and harvest seeds.
