Can anyone identify this plant? the flower is not really that significant but interesting none the less. The leaves are quite stiff and mottled. This plant was obtained from a pottery store in Pennsylvania. The little piece I purloined and potted when I got home to West Virginia has grown nicely since last Summer and surprised me with a number of blossoms just recently.

    Thanks. Mary

Hi Bluewing and thank you so much for quickly identifying the plant the has puzzled me for so long. I notice you're from Upstate NY. My husband and I moved to West Virginia in 1993 after living in Hilton (outside Rochester) for most of our adult lives. Just curious where you are?

    Hi Mary,

Glad you now know your plants name now. I have the same one which is about half the size as yours.
I live about an hour East of Corning. Your lucky, Virginia is a beautiful state and we almost moved there ourselves. Vermont MIGHT be a possibility in the future.

    Take care!
