    Why do you say it's a helianthus? Does the yellow flower in the picture belong to it?

    No, the yellow flower doesn't belong to it. It hasn't started to flower yet. Maybe it's not a helianthus but it sort of looks like that species to me.

    Giant leaves

    Anybody recognize this plant with the giant leaves? Looks like it will flower in the next week or so.
