Looking for help identifying this plant (please refer to photos). The stem is a pinkish green color. It is about 5 inches tall and growing in Colorado at 5,000 feet elevation, zone 6a. Thanks!
Tyrlych, ahh...it might be. No peonies in the garden, and it's clearly a volunteer, but the leaf definitely resembles photos found at this link (making allowances for it being a juvenile): http://tanyasgarden.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-first-and-only-tree-peony.html. Thanks for your help.
