    Hello,

I am fairly new to gardening and quicky realizing I love it. I have a garden full of perennials that bloom mid-summer, so last fall I decided to plant some bulbs that bloom in the spring/early summer. I purchased some crocuses, lilies, hyacinths and alliums. My alliums and hyachinths came up beautifully (and are finished), but the lilies and crocuses did not. What I did get was iris' and this mystery flower. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks so much!

I've seen this in bulb books, not sure it's exactly the same but it might be a species of Notholirion.

Thanks Ron. I have found the nursery where the bulbs came from and fired off an email to them as well. Not know is driving me crazy! :-)
