I am trying to ID a flower I photographed on the Island of Dominica. It is small and bright orange with a ruffled yellow edge on the petals. There are stamins that reach out from the center that about twice as long as the petal width. I am creating postcards with this flower on it, and I want to identify the flower properly. Who can help me? I have attached 2 pjegs of the flower. Please respond soon if anyone can tell if this is either in the Rhododendron or Hibiscus family. Or something else? It grows wild along the roadside in a tall bush. the flowers are in clusters. Thanks for any help you can give me. Regards, Ken Lombardo brokenlom@comcast.net
Can't remember botanical name at the moment, but I think if you search Pride of Barbados that will get you somewhere.
