Can anyone tell me what this flower is? It's currently blooming here in Alabama...has gotten VERY tall...almost 5' tall? Looks like asclepias...but the leaves are all wrong. Leaves look like hydrangea? HELP!

Bless you! I have never heard of this plant. No wonder I was having fits trying to identify it. Cannot wait to tell the mystery flower owner what she has (and I'm trying to propagate it right now)....and will share with everyone in our Master Gardener group that UBC Botanical Garden web site it the schiznit. THANKS again!
