I am hoping someone can help me identify this plant that I have had growing on a sloped rock garden for 4 or 5 years. It dies back to the ground every year and has round flowers the same colour as the leaves (you can see a couple starting in the bottom right corner of the picture. My friends have had trouble transplanting it but it does great on my steep slope in full sun. Ecoman
I have looked at some pics and descriptions of Eryngium maritimum and I think that this is it. I have several other eryngium varieties (that I love)and can now give this one a name. Any ideas for successful division ? thanks for your help Todd and Eric
