I just bought this at Shoprite and didn't even think to ask what it was. All the label said was 4" (I think they meant the pot) bulb foliage. And it's from Florida. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, globalist1789.

That's what I was leaning towards, but there were so many different types that I couldn't find a picture that looked close enough to mine to be sure. Maybe the "florida" label is a clue to the type.

It's called a peperomia obtusifolia variegata. It's also referred to as a baby rubber plant. No relation to ficus elastica.

I believe it's just Peperomia obtusifolia (not variegated).

    Hey, Amany and Rosemarie.

I appreciate the help. I went back to the store where I bought the plant, and they were in fact labeled as peperomia, but no further classification was given. So, again, thank you for the clarification.

unfortunately, I don't live in the limited areas that this plant would thrive outdoors, so it looks like I will have to settle for an indoor plant on this one.
