Hi, I'm new here, and I was wondering if someone could help me answer a question. I got this plant at Tops last week, and the only identification it had was a little tag with "Year of the Ox" in Chinese on it.......we have no idea how to care for this plant, so far I've been treating it like a bamboo since it's planted in rocks, but I was hoping someone might know what it was and if I should repot it and how better to care for whatever it is.

    Thanks, and hello! hehehe

Looks like Castanospermum australe, Moreton Bay Chestnut.

Castanospermum australe alright (the common name is Blackbean here, but I just went through the common name thing in a different post or five:}).
The seed is quite toxic making it perfect for the Magic Bean indoor plant that it's sold as...... ...... ... .. . . . what were they thinking?
NOTE: A bit like cycad seed it can be treated and eaten but I'd suggest not leaving it where little hands can get at it...
