Can anyone help me identify this bush? I purchased 2 small lilac bushes from a mail-order nursery which were planted in the fall. They face east and get plenty of sun, however they have never bloomed. In 3 years they have almost grown as tall as my house. I suspect that they are not Lilac bushes. Any suggestions? Terry

My landscaper ( not an arborist ) says that he can pull it out. Then I will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't pop up any where else. I hope this will work out. The local university extension service recommends cutting it to its base then using glyphosate. I do not like to use glyphosate. Does anyone have any thoughts on this ?
