Myrtle in lower mainland to see

    Anyone knolw of a myrtle growing in the lower mainland I could go and view. Thanks

    Crapemyrtle is Lagerstroemia.

    I would imagine there are some enthusiasts growing Lagerstroemia in your area. Not commonly available in garden centers though.

    Hot climate plants needing placement against sunny walls or in other warm spots to flower much here. Center for Urban Horticulute, Seattle has a collection planted in parking lot islands where surrounded by asphalt.
