The following was sent via email: I'm looking for information on Myrrhis odorata. such as, where to obtain and how to grow. Thank you Lou
Hey Lou, Sweet cicely seeds are available from many sources, consult your favourite seed catalogs or search online. Plant in early spring (or fall) where they are to grow. A sunny site is best. Here is an interesting link about the herb (although it offers little cultural info): http://www.uni-graz.at/~katzer/engl/Myrr_odo.html
I once pruned at a recently purchased derelict rural dwelling north of here, part of the front yard was nearly waist-high sweet cicely drifting among old fruit trees.
