Identification: My new fern.

    My 4 year old and I picked up this fern yesterday. We thought it was neat because it was kind of like mini palm trees. Can anyone tell me what kind it is? Id love to know how to care for it, though Im assuming it likes moist and not too sunny.

    Looks a bit like a Pteris that I have, that has red new growth

    Yes, this one is a Maidenhair, though Ed is right, there is a Pteris Quadriaurita 'Tricolour' that looks similar. This one is Adiantum Hispidulum, though; the 'rough maidenhair fern.'
