I recently moved from the outer eastern suburbs of melbourne to down the coast. The weather is is cooler but more moderate. SInce moving i have noticed dramatic changes with my aloe vera plants. They look discolored, i also planted in pots vegies. They now have black on the stems and now this week i noticed the hoyas are starting to yellow. Im so upset. When i planted the vegies i began to water more often, having said that not religiously. However the weather in melbourne has finnally become wetter after a long drought and previously i really wasnt good at looking after tham at all. They thrived!!!!! The one that flowers flowered last week they are now shrivelled. I cant let these plants die. They are outside with some shelter but enough light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so scared ive killed my late mothers pride and joys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help how do i help them???????????

There probably not liking the new area. I would transplant them into some new soil that is similar to the soil you had at your other house, clean the roots and bring them inside.

Yes, I would strongly recommend you to bring them inside so that they have a better climat.

    Hi guys,
Thanks for that, i have brought all the plants in.
However although the aloe vera has improved drmatically the hoya appears to have wrinkly leave and some are browning. I have just given it a water after letting them dry out. Im not sure what to do.. Should i water more? May something else be wrong?
