My mom bought me a marginata and I love it! I was watering it once a week but I think I over watered it and had it too close to the heat vent. After 2 and a 1/2 weeks, its completely dead. The leaves are yellow/brown and they are turned upside down. I am a first time plant owner and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to revive it. PLEASE help!!

Thanks in advance for any help.

It may not be dead. Just feel the stem to see if that is mushy or not. If not maybe cut off the "crown" and you may get new growth, but I think its coming into winter over there?
Oh and take it away from the heater vent. Also check if the soil is dry before watering again.

Does winter have anything to do with the leaves being droopy and yellow? Because we currently have below 0 temperatures Celcius. Otherwise, I took it away from the vent a few days ago and have not watered it. Are these seasonal plants? If you want, I could take a picture of it and send it. It looks so unhappy. I suppose I could be just really worried as this is my first live plant.
