I've planted a soulangiana ( saucer cup) last year and expected to see its full blooms this spring, but to my disappointment, not even one single bloom. What's wrong with my magnolia?? Can someone help me? By now all the leaves are out and green, looks very healthy.

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about yet. Magnolias can take a year or two to settle in to their new surroundings and start producing flowers. I have a M. stellata which has done the same. Healthy foliage is a good sign that the tree is perfectly ok. Count yourself lucky that you know it will flower in your lifetime. I have just planted a couple of species which can take up to 50-60 years to flower!! I'll be well into my retirement years by then!
