Was last summer's drought too much for it? I have not fertilized it at all and only watered occasionally but it has survived summers with no watering at all before. It is right next to a Grevillia that is blooming quite vigorously. I live in Seattle.

The type most grown here is deciduous, turns late in the season. The other day the sun shining on the autumn color of one of mine was quite nice.

I was comparing mine to another one in the neighborhood which must be the evergreen variety. I just don't remember mine being so yellow in previouse years. I've had it at least 5 and maybe 10 years.

Timing would suggest it is behaving normally.
