Hi, my name is Shelly. I am new here. I am looking for help with my dracaena. It's been perfectly healthy up until a few days ago. The leaves have started to droop and curl like they do when they are getting ready to fall off. Instead of just the bottom one doing it, most of them are. I pulled it out of the tiny pot it was in and put it in a bigger one with moist soil. I thought maybe I overwatered it last week. It was bone dry when i pulled it out, the roots were yellow. I'm going to try to attach pictures....please help, I love this plant.
Think that it may be suffering from a combination of dehydration stress and transplant shock. I would make no further changes, keep it well-moistened (and drained!) and just maintain for a bit. Make sure it is pest-free, and is not sitting in a cold or hot draft. Years ago I had a Dracaena that wilted alarmingly whenever I repotted it. Over the course of several days, it would gradually recover. After the first time, I knew to expect it---but that first time was pretty scary! Good luck with your Dracaena, and welcome to the Forum.
I just repotted it today. It started doing this I believe Friday. It's in a cubicle, it is near the ceiling vent but it has been in the same spot since I got it last year. It might have gotten cold over the weekend in the office. The new leaves that sprout at the top look nice and green but they even have a curl to them now. I'm so sad :( I hope he gets better. I got him from the New England Bonsai. It's funny cuz I paid $30 for him, I was in wal mart this weekend and they have young ones there for $2. I had been trying to find another one since I got this one!
