My Dog Eat This Vine

    Hello, my dog ate this vine and got very sick, please help me identify what type it is and is it a posion variety?

    The leaves look like an Anthurium ssp. Found web site that said it has vine-like growth in the wild. If so the poison is an oxalate. Would think that others would have id'd it by now, so that might be incorrect. One of the experts here might still have a firm ID for you. But the best way to find out locally what it is, is to take a stem with leaves to a knowledgeable nurseryman or County Extension for identification. Harry
