I've had a calamondin orange tree for almost 40 years. It blossomed & fruited well until the last 2 years. It is in the largest pot I can manage to move in & out for the summer. It is currently out on my front deck & has grown lots of new green shoots. Only about 6 shoots have 1 blossom each. The other shoots (hundreds) have only green growth. Last winter the leaves were quite blotchy so I fertilized with acidic fertilizer as I read on the net that they needed that. That seems to have worked as the new leaves are a beautiful green. I'm really disappointed that there will be very little fruit again this year. Other years I've had hundreds of fruits. My kitchen (large) windows face south so it gets lots of sunshine throughout the winter so light is not a problem. I've tried tomato fertilizer as that has worked well & promoted blossoms. I'm at a loss as to where to go now. The tree is quite large & I'm wondering if it is just too old to fruit.......otherwise it is healthy.
