my aunt has this tree in wooded area and does not know what it is

Hello, well it get's hit by lightning all the time. asuming cause of all the water inside it. and my uncle cut some of it and said it is orange and spungy and exstreamly watery on the inside of the trunk.i have a pic of one of the peices of the branch i scanned to hopefully help identify it. he said its so watery when he cut it it like pored out.
