    Hello,

We have a very grown araucaria, monkey tree, which is having some problems lately. This summer had an infestation of a white leggy insect, which we didn't control. At the same time many of its heavy branches have been drying and consencuently falling on the ground. We are very concerned because the tree is in our front yard, right in the curve, and we are afraid that a branch may fall on somebody. We don't know what to do.

What would you recomend us to do.

    Thank you very much,

    Gertrudis

Branchfall is normal for monkey puzzle trees as they age. How old is yours?

Thank you for answering! I guess it may have 30 or 40 years. It is very tall and until not long ago very healthy.
