Please help me identify this mushroom. Collected October 28 in Ottawa, Ontario under white pine. It measures about 1.5(2)x2(3) inches.
They look like Lepiota (now Chlorophyllum) rachodes, however you'll need to confirm this with a spore print, which should be distinctly white. A look alike, Chlorophyllym molybdities, is responsible for most mushroom poisonings in the US, and has a light green spore print.
