This afternoon found a 13 inch diameter mushroom growing in the gravel on the side of a forest road just north of Powell River, BC. It looks like a pine mushroom but need confirmation. I will need an email address to send it.

Growing in gravel suggest several mushrooms other than pine, but yes please do post your photo in this forum.

The smell of cinnamon is it's hallmark, I am told, but don't eat it based on that.

    Post a picture.
