I am trying to root several plants from cuttings this is oct . i used a rooting compound no.3 the leaves are still green but are getting brown spots on them its been a week do you think they will root in a few weeks or should i forget it until spring
Muscadines are very tough to root from dormant cuttings. Usually, they are multiplied by shoot layering, which takes a season. If you had a mist table you might root a green cutting, but the rates of success with dormant cuttings is very poor.
Thanks for the info. I will try cutting this spring also do have any info on rooting from their roots. I hear that you could do it and that they would be true to type.
