    Hi all,
I took this photo in a garden in central Tuscany. The surrounding countryside is in USDA zone 9a (technically 8b since the average absolute minimum winter temperatures are slightly below -7°C, but frosts are generally quite short), however this plants lives in the town centre and there's a urban heat island allowing some delicate species to live in (e.g Citrus or Bougainvillea). Besides, it is also southern exposed. My question: is this specimen a hardy banana (Musa basjoo) or a more delicate Musa species?
    Thanks in advance.

Flowerheads and fruits look like those of M. basjoo.
