Heres a pic of my banana tree. I noticed that the lower leaves are very droopy compared to the newer ones. Is this a problem.
have you checked under the leaves for spider mites. Usually look that bad when they have an infestation.
Get it out in some fresh air. These are difficult as indoor plants (for the most part), and as pointed out may easily develop mites. Also, brush up on your spelling young man, or we will not answer any of your hard to read questions. Cheers, LPN.
ok, i did the check for spider mites, which i think i do have unfortunatly ( there are water dropplets on the leaves, but i did not actually see any infestation.) I would gladly put most of my plants outside, but it is dry air here, and also we have high winds during the evening, and the temps get to around 7-12 at night. IF anyof these arent a problem, please let me knwo so i can get all them bugs. thanks for the help P.S. IT isnt a spelling problem as much as a typing problem lol sry LPN
Regular misting of the leaves will help with humidity. You can also place your potted banana plant on a planter tray of pebbles, and fill the tray with water. A couple of drops of mild dishwashing liquid mixed into a pint of water in a sprayer should keep the mites away. Spray the undersides of the leaves too since most of the mite gather there. Repeat every few days for a few weeks and monitor closely. Temps should be OK as long as it doesn't drop below 45f (7c) and maybe find a sheltered spot away from the winds if possible.. Cheers, LPN.
