We bought a house last July. Before I could have a good look at the plants growing in the yard (especially the flowers) the other half cut them down as they were in the way of the dryer duct.

Now they're coming back and I'd like to know what they are. I'm hoping you can help me out a little here :)

    Might be Hesperis matronalis
    Muscari sp., as indicated
Weedy Malva sp. (and not Alcea rosea)
    Weedy Geranium sp.
    Probably a Euphorbia sp.

    Thanks you guys!

Ron B. I think you're right about the first one (I googled and saw pictures) I remember seeing flowers similar to that briefly last year. The last one you're right about as well, I think. It just flowered the other day and had those yellow flowers. And of course the Muscari sp. (grape hyacinth) is dead on.

The "weedy" part of the Malva sp. and Geranium sp., does that mean they're actually a weed, or does it mean something else?
