Here are photos of the Washington State Champion Liriodendron tulipifera. Ron also mentioned a magnolia between the Mt Vernon courthouse buildings, but I didn't see one, which doesn't necessarily mean it isn't there. But this tree that I think is an oak is where it sounded like the magnolia would have been.
