Hello. I would like to move my potted Pygmy Date palm in for the winter. It will be going into a florida room. My question is can I or should I cut back the palm leaves?

Is there any reason you'd want to cut (I assume) healthy fronds from your palm? These are benefical to it's health, but if you must, go sparingly.

    Cheers, LPN.

Cutting back is mainly to help them fit in the room. Could they survive in a garage? Steve
